Symmetrel side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Feb 13, 2007. Female patient, 67 years of age, weighting 112.4 lb, was diagnosed with parkinsonism and was treated with Symmetrel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: autonomic nervous system imbalance, blood cholesterol increased, blood pressure decreased, cardiomegaly, cerebellar atrophy, constipation
, contusion, dysstasia. Symmetrel dosage: 50 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with TRIHEXYPHENIDYL HYDROCHLORIDE, LEVODOPA W, PARLODEL, TALIPEXOLE, CARBIDOPA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.Symmetrel Side Effects Report #5676455-1
