Sustiva side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 24, 2006. Male patient, 44 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Sustiva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: crying, disorientation, mental status changes, mood altered, nervous system disorder. Sustiva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COMBIVIR, VICODIN, NEURONTIN, REMERON, VALIUM. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 43 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Sustiva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: haemolytic anaemia, nervous system disorder, pyrexia, thrombocytopenia, thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura. Sustiva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ZIAGEN, VIREAD, NEURONTIN, VIRAFERONPEG, COPEGUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/07/2005.
