Sustiva side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Mar 18, 2009. Male patient, child 9 years of age, weighting 70.55 lb, was diagnosed with hiv infection , prophylaxis against transplant rejection and was treated with Sustiva. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute hepatic failure, cachexia, graft dysfunction, hepatic encephalopathy, hepatic function abnormal, hyperlipidaemia, hypertension, jaundice . Sustiva dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DIDANOSINE, ZIDOVUDINE, LAMIVUDINE, KIVEXA, ABACAVIR, MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL, NELFINAVIR. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
