Survanta side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Jan 14, 2005. Female patient, weighting 2.26 lb, was diagnosed with respiratory distress and was treated with Survanta. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: neonatal respiratory failure, pneumothorax, pulmonary interstitial emphysema syndrome. Survanta dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with BICARBONATE, NITRIC OXIDE, BUMETANIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 05/16/2003.

During the same period patient was treated with AMPICILLIN, GENTAMICIN SULPHATE, FENTANYL CITRATE, MIDAZOLAM HYDROCHLORIDE, GLUCOSE, CALCIUM GLUCONATE, CHLORIDE. Patient died on 09/02/2003.
