Survanta side effect was reported by a Physician from LIBYAN ARAB JAMAHIRIYA on Jan 12, 2008. Female patient, weighting 2.56 lb, was diagnosed with neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, prophylaxis and was treated with Survanta. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, bradycardia, dyspnoea, hypotonia, placental transfusion syndrome. Survanta dosage: UNIT DOSE = 4ML/KG NOT LESS THAN 6 HOURS.. During the same period patient was treated with AMPICILLIN, GENTAMICIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 12/12/2007.
