Sumamed side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from RUSSIAN FEDERATION on June 10, 2008. Female patient, child 3 years of age, was diagnosed with nasopharyngitis and was treated with Sumamed. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asphyxia, foreign body trauma. Sumamed dosage: unknown. Patient died.

Female patient, child 3 years of age, was diagnosed with nasopharyngitis and was treated with Sumamed. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asphyxia, choking What is  choking, cough, dyspnoea, foreign body trauma, hypersensitivity, obstructive airways disorder, respiratory arrest, syncope. Sumamed dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with LINEX. Patient died.

Female patient, child 3 years of age, was diagnosed with bacterial tracheitis and was treated with Sumamed. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: apnoea, asphyxia, choking What is  choking, cough, dyspnoea, foreign body trauma, pharyngeal oedema, syncope. Sumamed dosage: 125 MG ONCE A DAY (ONCE), ORAL, ONCE. During the same period patient was treated with LINEX. Patient died.
