Sulfatrim side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on July 31, 2006. Female patient, 60 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection
and was treated with Sulfatrim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: deep vein thrombosis
, haemoglobin decreased, hypovolaemic shock, international normalised ratio increased, muscle haemorrhage, pain
, pyrexia, retroperitoneal haematoma. Sulfatrim dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METRONIDAZOLE, WARFARIN, CEPHALEXIN, NIFEDIPINE, ACEBUTOLOL, INDAPAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.Sulfatrim Side Effects Report #6097028-5
Sulfatrim side effect was reported by a Health Professional from ITALY on Feb 10, 2009. Male patient, 50 years of age, was diagnosed with arthropod bite and was treated with Sulfatrim. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bilirubin conjugated increased, blood uric acid increased, erythrodermic psoriasis, hepatitis c positive, malaise, oedema peripheral, platelet count decreased, pyrexia. Sulfatrim dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with CYCLOSPORINE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
