Sulfasalazine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Dec 16, 2005. Female patient, 85 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Sulfasalazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alveolitis allergic, interstitial lung disease, pneumonia , wheezing. Sulfasalazine dosage: 1000 MG (500 MG, 2 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, MIRTAZAPINE, ASPIRIN, LISINOPRIL, TRAMADOL, SALBUTAMOL, LEVOTHYROXINE, FUROSEMIDE. Patient died on 01/01/2005.
