Sulfasalazine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED KINGDOM on July 21, 2005. Female patient, 70 years of age, weighting 176.4 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Sulfasalazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, asthenia, dyspnoea, frequent bowel movements, headache , nausea . Sulfasalazine dosage: 1500 MG (500 MG) ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with IBUPROFEN, ACETAMINOPHEN W, TRANDOLAPRIL, DYAZIDE, RANITIDINE. Patient recovered.
