Sulfasalazine side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on July 26, 2005. Male patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Sulfasalazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agranulocytosis, cellulitis , iatrogenic injury, perineal abscess, septic shock. Sulfasalazine dosage: (500 MG), ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
