Sulfasalazine Side Effects Report #4674028-0
Sulfasalazine side effect was reported by a Physician from on May 10, 2005. Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis , ill-defined disorder and was treated with Sulfasalazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, alanine aminotransferase increased, anaemia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, fatigue, hepatic pain, jaundice , myalgia. Sulfasalazine dosage: 2 GRAM (500 MG, 4 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with KETOPROFEN, TRAMADOL, PANTOPRAZOLE, CEFUROXIME AXETIL, SYMBICORT, ACETYLCYSTEINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
