Sulfadiazine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 26, 2007. Male patient, weighting 121.3 lb, was diagnosed with toxoplasmosis, hiv infection  and was treated with Sulfadiazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, crystal urine present, musculoskeletal chest pain, nausea . Sulfadiazine dosage: 1000 MG QID PO. During the same period patient was treated with TRUVADA, PYRIMETHAMINE, FOLINIC ACID, VICODIN, GUIAFENESIN, SEPTRA DS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Sulfadiazine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 24, 2008. Female patient, 49 years of age, was treated with Sulfadiazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: crystal urine present, haemolytic anaemia, nephropathy, renal injury, toxoplasmosis. Sulfadiazine dosage: 1000 MG EVERY 6 HOURS PO. Patient recovered.
