Sulfadiazine Side Effects Report #4930971-6
Sulfadiazine side effect was reported by a Physician from FRANCE on Feb 13, 2006. Female patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with pyoderma gangrenosum and was treated with Sulfadiazine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: antibiotic level above therapeutic, depressed level of consciousness, haemodialysis, leukopenia, nephropathy toxic, neutropenia, proteinuria. Sulfadiazine dosage: 200 MG, QD, TOPICAL. During the same period patient was treated with CORTICOSTEROIDS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
