Succinylcholine side effect was reported by a Health Professional from FINLAND on Mar 06, 2006. Male patient, child 6 years of age, was diagnosed with induction and maintenance of anaesthesia and was treated with Succinylcholine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaesthetic complication, condition aggravated, hyperkalaemia, procedural hypotension, pulse absent, ventricular tachycardia. Succinylcholine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with THIOPENTAL, HALOTHANE, NITROUS OXIDE W, ALCURONIUM. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 59 years of age, weighting 227.1 lb, was diagnosed with hypotension and was treated with Succinylcholine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arteriospasm coronary, cardiac arrest What is  cardiac arrest, coronary artery stenosis, cough, ejection fraction decreased, electrocardiogram st segment elevation, ischaemia, procedural hypotension, pulse absent. Succinylcholine dosage: 200 MG, INTRAVENOUS; 40 MG, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with EPHEDRINE SULPHATEECTION, PROPOFOL, MIDAZOLAM, REMIFENTANIL, ISOFLURANE. Patient recovered.
