Succinylcholine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 17, 2008. Male patient, 20 years of age, weighting 138.9 lb, was diagnosed with endotracheal intubation and was treated with Succinylcholine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood potassium increased, cardiac arrest
, electromechanical dissociation, ventricular fibrillation. Succinylcholine dosage: 140 MG IV X 1. During the same period patient was treated with PROPOFOL, MEROPENEM, VANCOMYCIN, VORICONAZOLE, ZANTAC, PAXIL, NEURONTIN, FENTANYL. Patient recovered.Succinylcholine Side Effects Report #5905546-2
Succinylcholine side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Oct 01, 2008. Male patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with anaesthesia and was treated with Succinylcholine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatine phosphokinase increased, blood glucose increased, blood ph decreased, blood potassium increased, heart rate increased, hyperthermia malignant, hypoglycaemia, hypotension, mental status changes. Succinylcholine dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
