Streptomycin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Mar 02, 2005. Male patient, 68 years of age, weighting 102.7 lb, was diagnosed with ill-defined disorder, pulmonary tuberculosis and was treated with Streptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: antibody test positive, eosinophil count increased, face oedema, haemodialysis, renal failure acute. Streptomycin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ISONIAZID, LEVOFLOXACIN, RIFAMPICIN, ETHAMBUTOL, PYRAZINAMIDE, CEFCAPENE PIVOXIL HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
