Streptomycin Side Effects Report #4708844-3
Streptomycin side effect was reported by a Physician from TUNISIA on June 23, 2005. Female patient was diagnosed with tuberculosis
and was treated with Streptomycin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acid fast stain positive, anaemia, anuria, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, chest x-ray abnormal, depressed level of consciousness, haematemesis, haemoptysis. Streptomycin dosage: 1000 MG (1 IN 1 D), INTRAMUSCULAR. During the same period patient was treated with ISONIAZID, RIFAMPICIN, PYRAZINAMIDE. Patient recovered.
