Starsis Side Effects Report #5109238-1
Starsis side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from JAPAN on May 27, 2006. Male patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, hypertension, pruritus, hyperphosphataemia, hyperuricaemia and was treated with Starsis. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: depressed level of consciousness, hypertension, hypoglycaemia, vomiting. Starsis dosage: 270 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with BASEN, NORVASC, BLOPRESS, OLMESARTAN MEDOXOMIL, CARDENALIN, POLARAMINE, TANKARU, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Starsis dosage: 90 MG, TID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/06/2006.

During the same period patient was treated with VASOLAN, LIPITOR, MUCOSTA, OMEPRAL, WARFARIN, ZANTAC, LASIX, METHIMAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
