Starsis Side Effects Report #5575983-7
Starsis side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Dec 19, 2007. Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Starsis. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood urea increased, eosinophilia, liver disorder, lymphocyte stimulation test positive. Starsis dosage: 270 MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with BASEN, NOVORAPID, GLIMICRON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, osteoporosis , gastritis, hepatic cirrhosis, anxiety , constipation  and was treated with Starsis. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, bilirubin conjugated increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood cholinesterase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased. Starsis dosage: 180 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with ROCALTROL, SELBEX, PROHEPARUM, DEPAS, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, TOUGHMAC E. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood potassium increased, blood urea increased, c-reactive protein increased, hyperkalaemia, liver disorder, surgery . Starsis dosage: 270MG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with GASTER, MUCOSTA, GLAKAY, ROCALTROL, FLOMOX, UNASYN, AMLODIPINE BESYLATE, INSULIN. Patient recovered.
