Starlix side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Oct 12, 2005. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperglycaemia and was treated with Starlix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: biopsy heart abnormal, cardiac failure congestive, condition aggravated, cough, eosinophilic myocarditis, malaise, pyrexia, transplant rejection. Starlix dosage: 60 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, ASPIRIN, PRAVACHOL, PROTONIX, VALCYTE, LIPITOR, LASIX, ENALAPRIL. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, colectomy total, diverticulum intestinal, gastritis, haemoglobin decreased, intestinal haemorrhage, lung infection, pyrexia, vomiting. Starlix dosage: 240 MG, QD. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
