Starlix Side Effects Report #4801097-7
Starlix side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Oct 12, 2005. Male patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with hyperglycaemia and was treated with Starlix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: biopsy heart abnormal, cardiac failure congestive, condition aggravated, cough, eosinophilic myocarditis, malaise, pyrexia, transplant rejection. Starlix dosage: 60 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, ASPIRIN, PRAVACHOL, PROTONIX, VALCYTE, LIPITOR, LASIX, ENALAPRIL. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, blood glucose increased, cough, gastric lavage, gastrointestinal disorder, hiccups, pneumonia primary atypical, pulmonary congestion. Starlix dosage: 120 MG, TID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood cholesterol increased, cardiac failure congestive, chest pain , coronary artery occlusion, cough, diabetes mellitus, diabetic cardiomyopathy, hyperthyroidism, obesity . Starlix dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VIOXX, SYNTHROID, MIACALCIN, ACTOS, PROMETHAZINE, CODEINE, LEVOXYL, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
