Sprycel side effect was reported by a Physician from FINLAND on Feb 25, 2008. Female patient, 66 years of age, was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Sprycel. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure increased, clostridium difficile colitis, gastritis, malignant neoplasm progression, oesophagitis, pancytopenia, pulmonary embolism , pyelonephritis, reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome. Sprycel dosage: INTERRUPTED-02AUG07,RESTARTD-08NOV07,140MG/D,INTERPTD-29NOV07,RESTARTD-10DEC07,DISCONTD-JAN08.. During the same period patient was treated with NEXIUM, ENOXAPARIN, CARDACE, KALCIPOS, DUREKAL, FURESIS, PREDNISONE, LAXOBERON. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
