Spironolactone side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on Mar 11, 2005. Male patient, 78 years of age, weighting 145.3 lb, was diagnosed with hyperkalaemia and was treated with Spironolactone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure congestive, condition aggravated, hyperkalaemia. Spironolactone dosage: 25 MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with KCL, LISINOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
