Spironolactone side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Jan 09, 2009. Female patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with oedema, cardiac failure and was treated with Spironolactone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood creatinine increased, blood sodium decreased, blood urea increased, c-reactive protein increased, gamma-glutamyltransferase increased, white blood cell count increased. Spironolactone dosage: 50 MG;DAILY;ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with DIGITOXIN, ACTRAPID, ALLOPURINOL, ASPIRIN, BISOPROLOL, INEGY, NAPROXEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
