Female patient, 83 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with oedema, cardiac failure congestive, hypertension and was treated with Spironolactone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block complete, blood potassium increased, blood pressure decreased, renal failure acute, syncope. Spironolactone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMILORIDE HYDROCHLORIDE, BISOPROLOL, DIGOXIN, RAMIPRIL, BUMETANIDE, GABAPENTIN, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
