Spectracef and abdominal pain Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Spectracef Side Effects Report #4829149-6
Spectracef side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Nov 11, 2004. Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with sinusitis  and was treated with Spectracef. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , clostridium colitis, off label use. Spectracef dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Spectracef side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on May 18, 2005. Male patient, 82 years of age, weighting 224.9 lb, was diagnosed with pneumonia  and was treated with Spectracef. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , blood potassium increased, body temperature decreased, clostridium colitis, cyanosis, gastrointestinal disorder, hypotension, renal failure, respiratory arrest. Spectracef dosage: 400 MG , BID, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALBUTEROL, CATAPRES, LIPITOR, SYNTHROID, DARVOCET, ADVAIR DISKUS, NAPROSYN. Patient died on 02/28/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , clostridial infection, clostridium colitis, diarrhoea, haematochezia. Spectracef dosage: 400 MG, BID, ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , clostridium colitis, dehydration, leukocytosis. Spectracef dosage: 200 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with NEURONTIN, PREVACID, TENORMIN, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
