Male patient, 62 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with intentional overdose and was treated with Sotalol. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , circulatory collapse, electrocardiogram qt prolonged, hypotension, memory impairment, sinus bradycardia, suicide attempt, torsade de pointes, ventricular fibrillation. Sotalol dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
