Sortis Side Effects Report #4738846-2
Sortis side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on July 27, 2005. Male patient, 67 years of age, weighting 183.0 lb, was diagnosed with lipid metabolism disorder, ill-defined disorder and was treated with Sortis. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angioneurotic oedema, candidiasis, chills, dyspnoea, erythema, fungal skin infection, hypersensitivity, musculoskeletal stiffness, nasopharyngitis. Sortis dosage: 20 MG (1 IN 1 D), ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMIN, BELOC, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, BETA BLOCKING AGENTS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Sortis side effect was reported by a Physician from GERMANY on Aug 29, 2005. Female patient, 73 years of age, weighting 116.8 lb, was diagnosed with hyperlipidaemia and was treated with Sortis. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: diffuse alveolar damage, dyspnoea, multi-organ failure, muscle necrosis, pain , renal failure acute, respiratory failure, rhabdomyolysis. Sortis dosage: 20 MG (20 MG, 1 IN 1 D), ORAL. Patient died on 01/01/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: angina pectoris, cardiac ventricular disorder, decreased appetite, dyspnoea, gastroenteritis , hepatitis , hyperhidrosis, muscular weakness, night sweats. Sortis dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OLFEN, DANCOR, ASPIRIN, PANTOPRAZOLE, MINITRAN, STRUCTUM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with DOXYCYCLINE HYCLATE, CIPROBAY. Patient recovered.
