Somatuline side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED KINGDOM on Oct 23, 2008. Male patient, 84 years of age, was diagnosed with post gastric surgery syndrome and was treated with Somatuline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, body mass index decreased, off label use, weight decreased. Somatuline dosage: (30 MG, 1 IN 3 WK) INTRAMUSCULAR :(60 MG, 1 IN 1 M) INTRAMUSCULAR. During the same period patient was treated with SOMATULINE DEPOT, OMEPRAZOLE, HYROXOCOBALAMIN, ADALAT. Patient recovered.
