Somatuline side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SPAIN on Feb 10, 2009. Female patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with neuroendocrine tumour and was treated with Somatuline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood potassium increased, metastases to liver, pleural effusion, proteinuria, renal failure acute. Somatuline dosage: (120 MG, 1 IN 4 WK), SUBCUTANEOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CALCIUM, INSULINE, CREON, LORAZEPAM, OMEPRAZOLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
