Somatuline side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Apr 14, 2008. Female patient, 83 years of age, was diagnosed with acromegaly and was treated with Somatuline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, hypoglycaemia, joint stiffness, musculoskeletal stiffness. Somatuline dosage: 90MG(NOT REPO-2),SUBCUT. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, INSULIN, LEVOTHYROXINE, LISINOPRIL, SIMVASTATIN, ASPIRIN, CALCIUM PLUS D, MAGNESIUM SULPHATE. Patient recovered.
