Somatropin side effect was reported by a Physician from ITALY on Nov 02, 2005. Male patient, child 6 years of age, was diagnosed with prader-willi syndrome What is  prader-willi syndrome and was treated with Somatropin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adenoidal hypertrophy, apnoea, bronchopneumonia, condition aggravated, respiratory disorder, tonsillar hypertrophy. Somatropin dosage: (0.2 MG/KG, WEEKLY: 0.20 MG/KG WEEKLY.). Patient died on 05/01/1995.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: adenoidal hypertrophy, apnoea, nasal septum disorder, obstruction, operative haemorrhage, oxygen saturation decreased, sinus bradycardia, tonsillar hypertrophy. Somatropin dosage: 0.5 MG DAILY (1/D). During the same period patient was treated with CORTEF, SYNTHROID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
