Sitagliptin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 10, 2009. Female patient, 75 years of age, weighting 183.0 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus and was treated with Sitagliptin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anxiety What is  anxiety, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood creatine phosphokinase mb increased, blood pressure increased, rhabdomyolysis. Sitagliptin dosage: 1000 MG/DAILY;. During the same period patient was treated with LOVASTATIN, PENICILLIN, ROSIGLITAZONE, PIOGLITAZONE, DILTIAZEM, GLIMEPIRIDE, LEVOTHYROXINE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
