Sitagliptin side effect was reported by a Health Professional from ITALY on Apr 17, 2008. Female patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and was treated with Sitagliptin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, face oedema, oedema peripheral. Sitagliptin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE, VALSARTAN, RISPERIDONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 68 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus, hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Sitagliptin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, cardiac failure, pallor, pyrexia, renal failure, ulcer haemorrhage. Sitagliptin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN, GLICLAZIDE, NIFEDIPINE, FUROSEMIDE, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/15/2008.
