Sintrom side effect was reported by a Health Professional from SPAIN on Jan 30, 2009. Female patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with ischaemic heart disease prophylaxis, hypertension and was treated with Sintrom. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: duodenal ulcer, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haematocrit decreased, haemoglobin decreased. Sintrom dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TROMALYT, NITRODERM, DIOVAN, ACFOL, PANTOK. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 77 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation , stent placement and was treated with Sintrom. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaemia, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, international normalised ratio increased. Sintrom dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN, PLAVIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 75 years of age, was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation , atrial flutter, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hypothyroidism, hypercholesterolaemia, essential hypertension and was treated with Sintrom. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haemolytic anaemia. Sintrom dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NEXIUM, SERETIDE, TOREM, EUTHYROX, LIQUAEMIN, PRAVASTATIN, LISINOPRIL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
