Simulect Side Effects Report #5368229-6
Simulect side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from CANADA on June 18, 2007. Female patient, 53 years of age, was diagnosed with renal transplant and was treated with Simulect. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: complications of transplanted kidney, hypotension, intubation, nephrectomy, pulmonary oedema, pyrexia, renal cortical necrosis, tachycardia, tremor. Simulect dosage: 20MG IV. During the same period patient was treated with THYMOGLOBULIN, CEFAZOLIN, PROPOFOL, METYLPREDNISOLON SOLUBILE, ROCURONIUM BROMIDE, FENTANYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Simulect dosage: 16 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. During the same period patient was treated with REMIFENTANIL, LASIX, PROPOFOL, ROCURONIUM, DESFLURANE, EPHEDRINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: complications of transplanted kidney, disseminated intravascular coagulation, gastrointestinal disorder, gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Simulect dosage: 20 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. During the same period patient was treated with NEORAL, SANDIMMUNE, PREDONINE, CELLCEPT, METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died on 03/16/2007.
