Sibutramine side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from AUSTRALIA on Oct 01, 2004. Male patient, weighting 213.8 lb, was diagnosed with obesity , hyperlipidaemia, hypercholesterolaemia, diabetes mellitus, diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent, folate deficiency, atrial fibrillation  and was treated with Sibutramine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: colonic polyp , dialysis , diarrhoea, hypotension, hypovolaemia, ileus, intestinal obstruction, renal failure acute. Sibutramine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with GEMFIBROZIL, ATORVASTATIN CALCIUM, GLICLAZIDE, METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE, FOLIC ACID, DIGOXIN, METOPROLOL TARTRATE, WARFARIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: faecaloma, pulmonary embolism , renal failure acute. Sibutramine dosage: 10 MG. During the same period patient was treated with MIXTARD, PANTOPRAZOLE, CANDESARTAN CILEXETIL, CELECOXIB, GLIQUIDONE, METOPROLOL, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
