Serzone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Jan 18, 2005. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with depression  and was treated with Serzone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: granuloma, liver function test abnormal, splenomegaly, ventricular tachycardia, vomiting, weight decreased. Serzone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TETRACYCLINE, RANITIDINE, LISINOPRIL, KETOCONAZOLE, VERAPAMIL, COLCHICINE, INDOMETHACIN, SIMVASTATIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Serzone dosage: DOSE TITRATED TO 300 MG TWICE DAILY OVER 3 TO 4 MONTHS.. During the same period patient was treated with ZYPREXA, KLONOPIN, ZANAFLEX, CELEBREX, TRAZODONE. Patient recovered.
