Septra and loss of consciousness Patient Reports February 13, 2012

Septra Side Effects Report #5117583-9
Septra side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 21, 2006. Male patient, 59 years of age, weighting 143.3 lb, was diagnosed with antibiotic prophylaxis, hiv test positive  and was treated with Septra. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, dehydration, dizziness , electrocardiogram qt prolonged, fall , fatigue, feeling abnormal, loss of consciousness, orthostatic hypotension. Septra dosage: 80/400MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with TRIZIVIR, DELAVIRDINE, NORVIR, INVIRASE, AZITHROMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Septra dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.
