Septra side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Feb 09, 2009. Male patient, 55 years of age, was diagnosed with opportunistic infection, hypertension and was treated with Septra. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: condition aggravated, dehydration, dialysis , hyperkalaemia, lung disorder, renal failure acute, renal tubular necrosis. Septra dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALTACE, ASPIRIN, CRESTOR, DUONEB, FERROUS SULPHATE, FORADIL, LASIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, weighting 26.90 lb, was diagnosed with cellulitis of male external genital organ and was treated with Septra. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, enteritis, hypoglycaemia. Septra dosage: 60 MG TMP BID PO. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, dehydration, dizziness , electrocardiogram qt prolonged, fall , fatigue, feeling abnormal, loss of consciousness, orthostatic hypotension. Septra dosage: 80/400MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with TRIZIVIR, DELAVIRDINE, NORVIR, INVIRASE, AZITHROMYCIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
