Septra side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Dec 29, 2008. Female patient, 40 years of age, was diagnosed with vaginal infection and was treated with Septra. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis, alpha 2 globulin increased, blister, c-reactive protein increased, cheilitis, conjunctivitis, cough, eyelid oedema. Septra dosage: unknown. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 23 years of age, weighting 123.5 lb, was diagnosed with infection prophylaxis, systemic antiviral treatment and was treated with Septra. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, conjunctivitis, diarrhoea, dizziness , hypotension, malaise, mucous membrane disorder, nausea , pyrexia. Septra dosage: 960 MG, THREE TIMES/WEEK. During the same period patient was treated with EFAVIRENZ, ABACAVIR, LAMIVUDINE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , bacterial infection , chills, conjunctivitis, cough, decreased appetite, erythema, fatigue, gastrointestinal disorder. Septra dosage: 80 MG, QD. During the same period patient was treated with FOSAMPRENAVIR, RITONAVIR, ZIAGEN, LAMIVUDINE, COMBIVIR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: conjunctivitis, depressed level of consciousness, dermatitis bullous, dyspnoea, mucosal ulceration, pain , pyrexia, rash maculo-papular, skin exfoliation. Septra dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMOXICILLIN TRIHYDRATE, AZITHROMYCIN, CLARITHROMYCIN, ERYTHROMYCIN, CEFTRIAXONE. Patient recovered.
