Female patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection What is  urinary tract infection and was treated with Septra. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrioventricular block first degree, blood creatinine increased, electrocardiogram qrs complex prolonged, electrocardiogram t wave peaked, hyperkalaemia. Septra dosage: 800/160 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with ISOSORBIDE, GEMFIBROZIL, TORSEMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
