Septra side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 25, 2007. Female patient was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Septra. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, acquired diaphragmatic eventration, alanine aminotransferase increased, ascites, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood creatinine increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased. Septra dosage: 1920 MG, BID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: activated partial thromboplastin time prolonged, alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood albumin decreased, blood creatinine increased, blood disorder, blood glucose increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, blood potassium decreased. Septra dosage: 480 MG / TWICE PER DAY / ORAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
