Selenium side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 13, 2007. Male patient, weighting 165.0 lb, was diagnosed with coronary artery bypass  and was treated with Selenium. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: carotid artery occlusion. Selenium dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COENZYME Q, OMEGA, ATENOLOL, PLAVIX. Patient recovered.
