Saxagliptin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SINGAPORE on Dec 24, 2006. Male patient, 49 years of age, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus non-insulin-dependent and was treated with Saxagliptin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hypertensive emergency. Saxagliptin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PIOGLITAZONE, LOSARTAN POTASSIUM, ASPIRIN, CLONIDINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
