Saquinavir side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Jan 25, 2000. Male patient, 23 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Saquinavir. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthritis , blood triglycerides increased, liver function test abnormal, osteonecrosis , platelet count decreased, pneumonia . Saquinavir dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NORVIR, ZERIT, ZIAGEN, KALETRA. Patient recovered.
