Female patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with carcinoid tumour and was treated with Sandostatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, dyspnoea, flushing, haemorrhage, hypoacusis, hypoaesthesia, loss of consciousness, muscle spasms. Sandostatin dosage: 30 MG EVERY 3 WEEKS. During the same period patient was treated with SANDOSTATIN LAR, PROCHLORPERAZINE. Patient recovered.
