Female patient, 79 years of age, weighting 99.21 lb, was diagnosed with vipoma and was treated with Sandostatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood creatinine increased, blood potassium increased, dehydration, depressed level of consciousness, diarrhoea, disseminated intravascular coagulation, oliguria, renal failure acute. Sandostatin dosage: 20 MG/D. During the same period patient was treated with TAKEPRON. Patient recovered.
