Sandimmune side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from JAPAN on Nov 16, 2005. Male patient, child 3 years of age, was diagnosed with stem cell transplant and was treated with Sandimmune. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure acute, gastrointestinal haemorrhage, haemodialysis, multi-organ failure, renal failure. Sandimmune dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISOLONE, FLUDARABINE PHOSPHATE, MELPHALAN. Patient died.

During the same period patient was treated with CELLCEPT, PREDNISOLONE, CYTOMEGALOVIRUS IMMUNE GLOBULIN, COLISTIN SULPHATE, JONOSTERIL, GELAFUSAL, CALCIUM, DESMOPRESSIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/02/2007.
