Sandimmune side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from on May 04, 2005. Female patient, 18 years of age, was diagnosed with transplant and was treated with Sandimmune. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactic reaction, blood pressure increased, rash . Sandimmune dosage: 200 MG, ONCE/SINGLE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with stem cell transplant and was treated with Sandimmune. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute graft versus host disease, aspergillosis, blood pressure decreased, cardiac hypertrophy, hepatic function abnormal, lung abscess, myocarditis mycotic, rash , renal abscess. Sandimmune dosage: 3 MG/KG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with ENDOXAN, METHOTREXATE, PROGRAF, THIOTEPA, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, IRRADIATION, CELLCEPT, STEROIDS NOS. Patient died.

Sandimmune dosage: 200 MG/DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with METHYLPREDNISOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 04/23/2007.
